These incredibly brave and heroic men  served with the 236th Medical Detachment in Vietnam.  Their dedicated service saved thousands of injured soldiers during the Vietnam War.  

These Dustoff crewmembers embody the very definition of courage. In recognition of their extraordinary bravery and selfless service, they were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal by the United States Congress, signed into law by President Joseph R. Biden on September 26, 2024.
They will remain in our hearts forever and will never be forgotten.
